Faculty Hosts AMAZE Project Consortium Meeting on Zero-Carbon Ammonia Technologies

On 7–8 May 2026, our Faculty had the pleasure of hosting the consortium meeting of the AMAZE project — “AMmoniA as a ZEro-carbon fuel and H₂ carrier”. The event brought together representatives of both industrial and academic partners involved in the international collaboration focused on sustainable energy technologies and innovative hydrogen solutions.

During the two-day meeting, participants discussed the current progress of the project, ongoing research activities, technological challenges, and future development plans related to the use of ammonia as a zero-carbon fuel and an efficient hydrogen carrier. The meeting also provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation between universities, research institutions, and industrial partners from across Europe.

The Faculty welcomed representatives of the following industrial partners:

  • CASALE SA (Switzerland),
  • Qemetica (Poland),
  • Hysytech (Italy),
  • Kavala Solutions (Greece).

The following academic institutions also participated in the meeting:

  • University of Messina (Italy),
  • University of Valladolid (Spain),
  • OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland),
  • SUPSI – University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (Switzerland),
  • UCLouvain – Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium).

We are proud that our Faculty could serve as a venue for such an important international meeting dedicated to the future of low-emission and sustainable energy systems.
